Vincent Arbarétier

Lieutenant-Colonel PhD (retired) Vincent Arbaretier is a French Military Historian currently working on an Habilitation dealing with « King Hussein of Jordan as Military Leader and Strategist  (1953 – 1999) in the framework of CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) Post-Doctoral studies. His last military assignment was the post of Chief of Military History Department within French Defence Historical Institute (Service Historique de la Défense) in Vincennes. He wrote three books and more than 20 articles in his field of expertise. He participated in many coloques around Europe on Contemporary War subjects. He is fluent in English, German and Italian linguages. He is currently deputy secretary of French Military History Commission. He is a recognized specialist in Military History and invited as such on French TV channels as LCI, BFMTV and France Info Tv.
